Raised near Philadelphia, PA, Erik is that distinct combination of soul and grit. As such, he has a fierce loyalty to fairness with a heart wide open to love and kindness, humanity and respect, forgiveness, and redemption. He has written hundreds of songs that have earned him recognition in over a dozen national songwriting contests including being named a 2005 Kerrville New Folk Winner. His song “Baseball in my Blood” was featured on NESN, the Boston Red Sox TV Network. Erik's recordings charted on the FAI FolkDJ charts including a No. 1 song, "If God Is an Apple," and No. album, "Everything is Great." -
