Gathering Time is an internationally touring folk-rock trio that blends ’60s spirit with modern sensibilities. Bett Padgett is a master storyteller through music, blending laughter, tears, and thought-provoking moments. With a unique mix of music, history, and storytelling, she ‘edutains’ listeners. With her musical prowess on guitar, banjo, mandolin, piano, and harp, Bett’s music transcends genres like Celtic, Old-time, Folk, and New Age. Having supported many aspiring musicians in her career as a music teacher and house concert presenter in Raleigh NC, she has finally pursued her dream as a writer and performer. Her most recent albums have garnered the number 4, 6 and 11 spots on Folk Music Radio, most recently, “Beneath Blue Water” which was released in October of 2024.
