Maine-based Lisa Redfern has released 12 solo albums and opened for Livingston Taylor, Dave Mallett, The Roches, Cindy Kallet, and Pete Seeger. Her accolades include Best Song at the West Coast Songwriters Contest, finalist spots in the Great American Song Contest and USA Songwriting Competition, and awards like a NAPPA Gold and Parents’ Choice Silver. Her recent release, The Best Part, is featured on several top 10 folk radio lists. Livingston Taylor praised her voice, saying it sounded like one of the original women of folk. Dirty Linen Magazine called her “one to watch.” -
