Reared on 70’s radio, showtunes, MTV and 90’s folk-rock, Amy Soucy ultimately found her voice and honed her songwriting chops in the folk scene. She writes evocative songs exploring the kaleidoscope of human experience, and sings them in a voice that’s been called “powerful,” and “angelic.” Her first album, This River, won her a coveted Emerging Artist spot at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and 1st place in CT Folk’s Song Competition. She’s getting ready to record her next solo project, “Skeleton Key.”
