For JERRY KOROBOW, throughout over five decades and many professions-social worker, school music teacher, actor, restaurant/bar manager, attorney, and synagogue cantor-music has been the constant. Folk, blues, bluegrass, Celtic, country, chanteys, show tunes, children’s music, cantorial music and opera have all been part of an ongoing musical journey. Still a working attorney and cantor, Jerry’s goal is always to engage others and encourage participation, whether singing with children, a congregation, or a concert audience. He was the subject of a feature article in the December 7, 2008 New York Times, “The Cantor Carries A Six String”.
