The Folk Project Streaming Tuesdays concert series presents Steve Gibb
Steve Gibb is an award-winning Scottish guitarist and composer celebrated for his richly expressive solo fingerstyle guitar recordings. Trained in classical guitar at the Royal Academy of Music (later earning an ARAM), Steve has built a career spanning Broadway — Jersey Boys, Dear Evan Hansen, Beautiful, School of Rock — and stages shared with artists from Eartha Kitt to Il Divo. But it's his solo albums, The Boatman, Island of Woods, and Circles of Light, that define him: Celtic-rooted, deeply melodic recordings praised by Acoustic Guitar Magazine as "beautiful, deep, and soulful" and by The Ark of Music as "flat-out, incontestable virtuoso guitar playing."
